Colorful abstract landscape

I did a lot of hiking last fall in the Laurentians region of Quebec and was inspired by the magnificent, vibrant autumn landscapes. This all-too-short season, where warm colors reign supreme, is a wonderful source of inspiration for a painter. When I look at this painting, I remember all the joy I felt walking through the fallen leaves and admiring the trees around me.
