Her career

Judith Fleurant is a self-taught painter with a passion for the visual arts. Entrepreneur for many years, she decided to devote herself totally to her art when she sold her business. She completed a certificate in visual and media arts from UQAM in 2020. Today she paints in her beautifully lit studio located on the North Shore of Montreal.

Nature & emotions

Each of Judith Fleurant's work is inspired by nature and is greatly influenced by the emotions surrounding it. These artworks are both colorful and soft, abstract and figurative, and can be easily integrated into different types of decors.

Artistic approach

''My experience in abstract artwork has led me to develop an artistic language of my own. Inspired by nature and guided by my emotions, I imagine landscapes that are often barely evoked, at the limit of abstraction. 
For the past few years, these landscapes have been unfolding in two completely different styles. While in one the landscapes have a very blurred rendering, the other one approaches very precise and geometrical shapes. In both cases, my desire is to share my soft and colorful landscapes that call for reverie''.
